Surprisingly it is very efficient

Our basement bathroom did not have an air evacuator, so I needed to build a solution that wouldn't take up much space. The available area was just slightly wider than the diameter of the duct, so I looked for an extractor that could be mounted directly on the pipe. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of air it can evacuate, and it operates very quietly.

Of course, the installation requires a bit more work than traditional extractors because you need to break quite a bit of drywall to access the pipe. However, since I was installing a new pipe, this wasn't a big problem for me. This device has effectively met my needs and exceeded my expectations in terms of performance.

Decent duct fan - easy to clean and maintain

If you are looking for a simple method of air injection, this is a good pick. Overall, the quality is a little less than ideal, but for the price, this is acceptable.

It has a standard US 110 volt plug already bonded, and does not require any special wiring. If you are needing a speed control - you will need this to be installed on your end. It does not include anything for speed control. But It is compatible with standard fan speed controls.

This fan is extremely easy to open up and clean. It has two straps that pop open to disassemble the inside. Very easy to remove all the pieces and wash in a sink, and reinstall. This is important for anybody using this for injecting clean air into a grow tent, or similar.

It works well. Seems to move the claimed amount of air. It's not silent, but it's not loud either. I use it to vent a 900 square foot cigar lounge/basement. 2 hours after a cigar was smoked, you can't even tell.

Other uses

This inline duct fan is great. Seems heavy duty. Not too loud. We are using it with a portable ac, the bottom exhaust fan went out and is no longer available. We put this in the exhaust duct and it moves enough air to make the ac unit cycle the compressor like it is supposed to. Saved us from having to throw away an expensive ac unit. Working great, we will see how long it last. We'll packaged, arrived quickly.
